Join us for Tween Esteem’s 2025 Kick-Off Event at Josh Beaton Photography Studio! This open house-style event is the perfect way to kick off an exciting six-month journey, bringing together all 2025 participants and their parents, as well as alumni families. Our alumni will share their Tween Esteem experience and families will receive a comprehensive overview of the 2025 program. Don’t miss this chance to meet new families, learn from alumni, and set the foundation for a new season of growth and empowerment!

WHAT TO EXPECT

A light brunch will be served at noon.

After 30 minutes of mingling and learning, alumni families will head out, and our new participants will have the chance to connect through fun ice breaker games designed to build lasting friendships. While the kids bond, parents are invited to walk with Dr. LaTia Greer to a nearby location for a private Parent Circle. This exclusive, no-cost resource offers a safe space to connect with other grownups and receive valuable support on your parenthood journey. Circles are open to any adult who is helping raise your tween. Partners and adult family members are welcome.

Our program day will wrap around 2:00 pm.

Youth ice breakers will be facilitated by CPS educator Janet Kamiri-Ong. This event is also an opportunity for parents to meet with the program co-founders, Executive Director Danielle Beaton and photographer Josh Beaton.
